I cut up some styrofoam into a Daizo Tupperware container and poured in instant mortar, which only requires mixing with water! That's all it took to create my dream yakitori stand (although it's a little heavy). It was so exciting taking it out of the Tupperware! Digging out the styrofoam felt like excavating an archaeological site!! And the yakitori...was so delicious! (≧◇≦) It's the best♪ Next time, I'll try using "perlite mortar," a suggestion from a viewer. It's 8 times more heat-resistant!? Apparently it burns until the charcoal turns to ash!!
