Je visite un atelier de broderie perlée (perles et crochet de Luvenille de 1920)

After training at the prestigious Lesage beadwork school (part of the Chanel group), Cécile Abou could have joined the teams of haute couture houses. She took a different path and decided to open her beadwork workshop in a third-party location in Ardèche, at Moulinage de Chirols. This former silk factory houses her creations, her world, and her numerous projects, which she crafts using Luneville crochet. She opens the doors of her studio to us to discuss pearls, secondhand, flea markets, training, jewelry, creations, physical labor, and treasures from the 1920s. She has recovered a precious heirloom, that of a pearl embroiderer who worked for Lesage in the 1920s. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/emmanuellea...
