Incredible Walleye Fishing | Ontario Drive To Adventure

Incredible walleye fishing in northwest Ontario out of Camp Lake St. Joseph. This boat in camp feels like a fly in fishing camp but we drove on paved highway all the way to the boat ramp. Lake St. Joseph is almost a hundred miles of lake to explore with a crazy good walleye population. This lake is unique in that non resident anglers do need a special lake permit provided by the lodge to fish the lake. The result is very few anglers on the lake. We easily caught over a hundred walleye in the boat per day with a couple of anglers without an extraordinary effort with the biggest walleye at 31 1/2 inches! The cabins were great at the lodge. The owners are extremely friendly and helped with fishing advice. The cabins are really affordable. They do a fun camp fish fry every Wednesday night. Really a diamond of a fishing camp for anglers looking for an under the radar, affordable fishing destination with crazy good walleye fishing. I honestly think you could have caught a lot of walleye however you wanted but we leaned on 1/4 ounce long shank tungsten jigs paired up with white Eye Candy Paddle Shads for the versatility and durability.
