Today, the development of small hydropower is one of the country's state policy priorities, offering the opportunity to utilize green technologies and meet the population's essential electricity needs. For example, on the centenary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region, another small hydropower plant will be opened in the village of Gulistan in the Nookat District, generating electricity for several villages.
