Welcome to Diesel: Behind the Denim, a mini docuseries dedicated to demystifying denim production and highlighting Diesel’s commitment to offer more style with less impact. In Episode 2 Lifetime Jeans, our fearless host Lea Ogunlami continues her journey into the heart of Diesel denim to discover what makes a Diesel lover and how jeans can last more than a lifetime. Outside the store, Lea finds a customer wearing Diesel Library, which Lea also happens to be wearing. Diesel Library consists of essential denim pieces, all of which are crafted from lower-impact materials, such as organic or recycled cotton and washes that minimize water and chemical usage, as well as carefully chosen lower-impact trims. Diesel Library is a timeless collection designed to be worn season after season. Inside the store, Lea ambushes a Diesel client returning a pair of Diesel jeans he bought 10 years ago that no longer fit. He can do that? As a matter of fact, yes, according to a helpful Diesel denim expert who explains Diesel’s Second Hand buyback program. All Diesel stores in Italy take back pre-worn Diesel denim, then repair it and resell it on Diesel.com in Europe.
