Today, we’re tackling Stages 57 through 62 of the Fanhome Build the Star Wars Darth Vader model, and things are getting seriously impressive! This week is all about the Darth Vader arms and the stunning detail of the hands. We build out the right arm, make a crucial correction to the forearm panel, and then get hands-on with the heavy, rubberized left glove. The detail is incredible—it looks just like fabric but is surprisingly weighty! But the biggest surprise? We start building the Darth Vader lightsaber hilt! We assemble the electronic-ready hand and begin construction on the saber itself, complete with a speaker component. ⚠️ WARNING: I hit a small snag! Due to missing parts from Pack 8 (I'm looking at you, America, who already has it! 😉), I can't fully connect the lightsaber hilt to the hand for the final swap-out demonstration.
