A Lesser Known "Viking" Helmet

Most helmet designs associated with Vikings are in fact from the earlier Vendel period (550-793). The most commonly reproduced helmet that dates to the actual Viking period (793-1066) is from the Gjermundbu farm in Norway. The is a second one however, which is not as well known: The Yarm helmet, found in North Yorkshire, England. It's not a richly decorated piece of armor for a prestigious chieftain or jarl but looks comparatively plain, with a "munitions grade" utilitarian finish. NOTE: In the video I should have made clear that this helmet's dating is not entirely certain.
