In today's video, we'll show you how to create a custom logo in Photoshop CC! A logo is a graphic representation that symbolizes a company, product, or service. With a logo, you can make your BRAND instantly identifiable! You understand that this is a VERY IMPORTANT element. Of course, there's no single formula for creating a logo. There are logos based on characters, others based solely on symbols, and still others based on geometric shapes. In short, you can really go wild when designing your logo. In this video, we'll show you how to create a logo in Photoshop CC QUICKLY and EASILY. And we'll do it by creating 2 logos TOGETHER. 1) A logo for a fake jewelry store (GEOSENSO) 2) A logo for a fake organic soda (BIOSODA) 😂 We'll create both logos using shapes in Photoshop. In fact, the shapes Photoshop provides are a great place to start. ...especially if you're just starting out or are a complete beginner at logo creation. Before we begin, there are 2 small PRELIMINARY REMARKS we need to make. 1) Photoshop is not the right place to create your logos. This is because Photoshop is a raster graphics software. To put it simply: if we save our logo in Photoshop, we can't enlarge it infinitely... unlike what we can do with, for example, Adobe Illustrator, which works in vector. But if you need to create a logo that isn't too demanding, for your website, your business, or for social media or flyers, Photoshop is more than fine. 2) To create a proper logo, you MUST follow a specific and professional process. A process that ranges from brand analysis to design and finally logo creation. This is why, for time reasons, we haven't covered the topic in detail in this tutorial. This is a very practical tutorial that takes you straight to the result (we'll leave out some very important aspects).
