Charlottesville, VA, home to many national attractions such as Monticello, University of Virginia, and Downtown Mall is a MUST SEE if you find yourself in the state of Virginia. Nearby to Shenandoah National Park, this quaint little town is nestled right by the Appalachian Mountains, which brings it much of its scenic beauty. Because Charlottesville was the home for early presidents such as Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and James Monroe, the town has a strong historic ambiance to it.
