From the age of 19, he worked as a carpenter, dismantling and repairing over 100 houses that were decades old for 10 years, and came to understand the characteristics of sturdy and easily broken houses. At the age of 29, he founded Hiramatsu Construction as a private business. At the age of 32, he established a corporation called Hiramatsu Construction Co., Ltd. He went to Germany to study home building to learn about energy-saving and healthy homes. Whenever an earthquake occurs, he goes to the site to report on it, gathers various information, and makes decisions about home building from primary information, continuing to study home building in western Shizuoka Prefecture every day.
