Dream Home

Probably one of my most important videos ever, the dream that has kept me going, and that I have worked towards since I was 21, planning, saving, thinking about, drawing, collecting pieces, learning skills, flipping houses, generally getting there piece by piece, with setbacks along the way. I've included coloured elevation plans from actual kit house companies I could buy from, two houses which were on the market and that had things worked out better I could have have bought, concept drawings from old time catalogues, photos from museum visits, and of course many images from Pinterest. The dream home is really all I have ever wanted, or the most important thing anyway, above husband, child, pet, revenge, or profession. Some people seek revenge or wealth above all things, not me, just oldness and permanence. Independence though, is pretty high up there.
