Tiflis İlk Günden Büyüledi! | Finli Kadın Buraya 13 Kez Gelmiş! 🇬🇪
Tbilisi Amazed Us on Day One! | This Finnish Woman Has Been Here 13 Times! 🇬🇪 Welcome to the second episode of our Georgia travel series! In this episode, we start exploring Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, in daylight and take you through the city like a complete Tbilisi travel guide. From Tbilisi Old Town to the Dry Bridge Market, the famous Clock Tower, Freedom Square, the Mother of Georgia monument, the Sulfur Baths and Georgian food, we visit some of the most iconic places in Tbilisi. In the first episode, we shared our journey from Istanbul to Tbilisi, our arrival in the city at 3 AM and our adventure from Tbilisi Airport to the city center. Now, it is time to truly discover Tbilisi. We start the day from our hotel and walk into the streets of Tbilisi. Our first stop is an exchange office, where we convert our money into Georgian Lari before beginning our first full day in the city. Then we stop by Entree Cafe. At first, we only plan to grab something quickly and continue walking, but the smell, atmosphere and energy of the place change our minds. Our takeaway plan suddenly turns into a lovely breakfast break. Right at that moment, one of the most beautiful surprises of the episode happens. We meet a Finnish woman who has visited Tbilisi 13 times. She shares why she keeps coming back to Georgia, how she sees Tbilisi and Turkey, and in the end, we even receive an invitation to Finland. :) After our coffee break, we continue walking toward Tbilisi Old Town. Old buildings, modern touches, street music and the unique atmosphere of Tbilisi slowly begin to reveal themselves. On the way, we come across the Dry Bridge Market. We take a short walk among old paintings, antiques, Soviet-era objects and interesting pieces displayed on blankets. After that, before the day slips away, we head to one of the most iconic spots in Tbilisi: the famous Clock Tower. With its leaning shape, fairytale-like architecture and unique story, the Tbilisi Clock Tower immediately shows why it attracts so many visitors. We also take a look at the surrounding street art, oil paintings and the nearby basilica before continuing our route. While walking through the streets of Tbilisi, music seems to come from almost every corner. In this lively atmosphere, our next stop is Freedom Square. On the way, Anıl tries a small Georgian street food snack, and then Burcu talks about Georgia’s history and the importance of this square for the city. After that, we head toward one of the most impressive symbols of Tbilisi: the Mother of Georgia monument. Although it is possible to go up by cable car, we choose to walk in order to experience the city step by step. The hills are tiring, but the narrow streets, city views and changing atmosphere as we climb higher make it worth it. Narikala Fortress was under restoration during our visit, so we could not go inside, but we still share its story with you. Our next stop is the authentic Cafe Leila. After a short mineral water break, we continue to one of the most characteristic areas of Tbilisi: the Sulfur Baths. Around the Orbeliani Bath, with its architecture, domes and stone streets, we feel the cultural texture of Tbilisi even more strongly. By the end of the day, we are very hungry. We find ourselves in a hidden gem called Sophia’s Melnikova’s Fantastic Douqan. Here, we try some of the most famous Georgian dishes, including khinkali and khachapuri, and share our honest thoughts about the taste, portions and overall experience. In this episode, we wanted to show Tbilisi not only as a list of tourist attractions, but as a living city. From the Kura River to the streets of Old Town, from Dry Bridge Market to the Clock Tower, from Freedom Square to the Mother of Georgia, from the Sulfur Baths to Georgian cuisine, we experience our first daytime discovery of Tbilisi together. ⏱️ What’s in This Video? 00:00 Georgia Episode 2 Begins 01:16 First Steps in Tbilisi 02:39 Exchanging Money for Georgian Lari 03:30 Entree Cafe Break 04:11 Finnish Woman Who Visited Tbilisi 13 Times 05:23 Walking Through Tbilisi Old Town 06:55 Dry Bridge Market 07:33 Tbilisi Clock Tower 12:16 Cheap Street Food in Tbilisi 14:07 Freedom Square 15:11 Walking to the Mother of Georgia 19:32 Mother of Georgia Monument 21:43 Narikala Fortress Under Restoration 23:25 Cafe Leila 25:10 Tbilisi Street Atmosphere 29:13 Meidan Bazar 31:33 Sulfur Baths 34:59 Looking for Food in Old Town 38:09 When to Visit Tbilisi 43:27 Closing 44:36 What’s Coming in Tbilisi Episode 3?
