Recycled Vintage Craft: Jewelry Box, Plate, and Butterfly

#diyhomedecor #vintagestyle #diycrafts In this video, I create a vintage-style jewelry box, a jewelry plate, and a decorative butterfly using materials that would otherwise be destined for the recycling bin. For the jewelry plate, I repurpose an old plastic pudding cup and a worn-out plastic plate. The jewelry box is crafted from a butter container and cardboard, while the butterfly is made using cardboard, a coffee capsule, and a pen cap. To embellish these items, I make flowers and butterflies from cardboard packaging using a die-cutting machine. Once all the pieces are assembled, I paint everything with a base coat of white. This ensures a uniform look and helps the subsequent colors stand out. After the base coat dries, I use the dry brush technique to add blue and gold accents. This technique involves dipping a dry brush lightly into the paint and then brushing off most of it before gently sweeping it over the surface. This creates a subtle, textured effect that highlights the details and gives the pieces a charming, vintage look.
