214. Leżing, plażing, smażing bez parawaningu w Hua Hin

The expansive sandy beach is located between the Khao Takiab and Khao Tao hills (the section of beach near Khao Takiab is called Huana Beach). Most of the beach is nestled within a pine grove, providing excellent shade from the sun. The section of beach near the military resort is called Suan Son Pradipat. It has convenient parking, toilets, and showers, and there are snack and drink stands by the parking lot. This spot is a favorite among locals, so renting a sunbed or table is reasonable – just 20 baht. The beach slopes gently into the sea and is very wide at low tide. The water is cleaner than at the city beach. After a swim, it's worth taking a long walk along the beach; it's deserted, with only the occasional passerby. You can reach this spot by your own transport (we especially recommend cycling along the well-maintained bike path along the expressway) or by Grab or Bolt. At this time of year, Hua Hin Surf Paradise is held on Huana Beach for two days. Although the waves here are nowhere near those in Hawaii, it's still a popular destination for surfing enthusiasts. The event is accompanied by food and beach merchandise stalls, and in the evenings, there are concerts by popular pop stars. It's worth heading south of Hua Hin to Suan Son Pradipat Beach for a lazy day, and on Sundays, you can meet the local Polish community. We recommend this place!
