The Bronco was developed as an off-road vehicle that would use it own Platform. This was Ford’ first SUV. Today you can’t walk to your mailbox without seeing an SUV, in the early and mid 60’s that just wasn’t the case. The vision for an SUV has changed drastically over the years.
