Neal Casal (Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Ryan Adams) shares "White Fence Round House", a haunting ditty from his 10th solo album called "Sweeten the Distance" (from Royal Potato Family). Casal is a busy musical collaborator, having recorded with and performed alongside artists such as Beachwood Sparks, Vetiver, Fruit Bats, Lucinda Williams, The Jayhawks, Gin Wigmore and Rufus Wainwright, Phil Lesh and Willie Nelson. This, on top of his gigs as Ryan Adams & The Cardinals lead guitarist and Chris Robinson's main man in the Chris Robinson Brotherhood. The new album is a gorgeous tapestry that evokes dusty sunshine in Laurel Canyon even while it sounds totally unique and fresh to 2012 ears.
