A Tour Of Kings Island's Soak City Water Park - Body Board Surfing, Drop Slides, + Fun Kid's Areas. We took a trip to Kings Island in Cincinnati, Ohio (well, technically, it's Mason, Ohio), and while we were there, we checked out their Soak City Water Park. Soak City has two entrances: the main one, that you access from the parking lot; and an entrance from the amusement park side through the Planet Snoopy kid's section. We rode rides in the amusement park, and then took the Planet Snoopy route to get to Soak City. It's very convenient to be able to easily go from one part of the park to the other, so you can take your swim suits and towels, put them in a locker while you ride some rides, and then head over to Soak City! The water park has everything we expected to find, but also included something that we were really surprised to see there: Body Board Surfing! Called Pipeline Paradise, you can ride a body board on the straight or curled waves created by this attraction! I don't think we'd be talented enough to actually do this, but it was fun to watch those who could pull it off. We were at the park with some young kids (3, 8 & 9 years old), so it was good to see so many great kid's areas in the water park! Children are gonna love playing at Lookout Lagoon, Aruba Tuba, Castaway Cove, Lookout Lagoon, and Splash Landing. Adults certainly aren't overlooked here for fun and thrills. There are two wave pools, a lazy river, and lots of water slides of all kinds. They even have some tube drop slides at Tropical Plunge, where the floor falls out from under you, plunging you at high speed down twists and turns, and finally splashing you down at the bottom! And when you're done at the water park, you can ride the train back to the amusement park side. We'll show you the details in this video, so check it all out!
