Static Sites Don't Have To Be Totally Static! CraftForms + FlowMattic

Have you ever wondered if a static WordPress site can still handle dynamic forms and powerful automations? In this video, I demonstrate how I've successfully connected Craft Forms, FlowMattic, and my Response for CraftForms plugin to create a secure workflow that allows a static website to submit forms, trigger automations, and return dynamic responses. I also show my latest lockdown approach for WordPress, where almost the entire backend is secured while exposing only the REST API endpoints needed for the workflow. In this video you'll learn: ✅ How to use CraftForms on a static website ✅ How Response for CraftForms enables dynamic responses via JavaScript ✅ How FlowMattic automations can run from a static form submission ✅ Locking down WordPress while still allowing automation workflows ✅ Why static sites can still support dynamic functionality ✅ Future possibilities including Stripe payments and digital product delivery This is still an experimental project, but it's already showing what's possible when you combine static front-ends with WordPress as a secure automation backend. I'd love to hear your ideas and use cases—leave a comment below! 👍 If you enjoyed the video, please Like and Subscribe for more WordPress, automation and static site experiments. 00:00 Introduction 00:27 Previous CraftForms static site project 00:51 The new goal: secure automation on static sites 01:15 Locking down the WordPress backend 02:10 Plugin setup and FlowMattic workflows 03:34 How the architecture works 05:03 Why static sites can still be dynamic 05:55 First live demo 07:13 Form submission and automations in action 08:23 Proving it's really a static site 09:29 Regenerating the static site 10:41 Second live test after deployment 12:02 Static WordPress as an automation backend 12:43 Future plans: Stripe payments & digital delivery 13:15 Why this approach is exciting 13:42 Final thoughts #WordPress #StaticSite #CraftForms #FlowMattic #automation Previous Videos I am referencing: CraftForms & Simply Static    • CraftForms + Simply Static: Make WordPress...   Testing CraftForms: Static Form Submissions, File Uploads & AI Workflows    • Testing CraftForms: Static Form Submission...
