This time, I climbed Mt. Kobushigatake, one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains in Okuchichibu, via the Chikamaru Shindo trail. This route starts gently, following a steep old railway track, but becomes much steeper after crossing a check dam, and merges with the Tokuchan Shindo trail. It feels more challenging than the Tokuchan Shindo trail, which starts climbing from the beginning.
