Make Glass Look Real in Watercolor | Mason Jar Tutorial

Glass can feel difficult in watercolor, but it becomes much easier once you know what to look for. In this video, I show you how I paint a realistic mason jar by carrying the background color through the glass, saving the highlights, and adding darker edges where the glass is thicker. We also use distortion in the brush, the waterline, and the lettering to make the jar feel believable and real. Want to skip the drawing and go straight to painting?
