Basically, we're a couple who find cheap hotels mainly in the Tokai region and head out in our Hiace van! We enjoy drinking at local izakayas (Japanese pubs). Sometimes we do sightseeing, and very occasionally we stay at slightly nicer hotels and ryokans (traditional Japanese inns). We also occasionally tinker with our Hiace van. This time, since we have a 12-day Golden Week holiday, we're going on a 3-night, 4-day trip to Wakayama. On the first day, we're staying at our favorite hotel, Hotel Livemax Resort Inami Seafront, which offers excellent value for money! This is our third stay there. All rooms have open-air baths, and the buffet includes unlimited salmon roe! The rooms are spacious and comfortable.
