Miata Innovative Engine Mounts

Today I am installing a set of Innovative Engine Mounts on my Miata. My motor mounts were due for replacement as they were most likely factory and had never been changed in its 140K miles. I’m sure glad I chose to do this upgrade since the factory mounts definitely couldn’t handle the power this car was making. While taking off the mounts we discovered that the passenger mount had completely broken off the engine. The driver mount rubber was also almost completely ripped off. This was a pretty tough job since it's a pretty tight space and it's difficult to get the bots to line up. Also using only a floor jack made it tough to get things to line up. Luckily I had a friend to come and help me to maneuver the engine while I got the bolts in. We successfully got the engine mounts installed after many hours of struggling.
