It will help you get a steady airflow, fuller sound, improve your intonation, and feel your lips great before starting with your daily exercises. Tips: 1. Take a slow and deep breath (4 beats). Be always prepared. 2. Remember to think forward! Take each line as one whole thing and try not to break the airstream. Immagine your air as a constant river current. 3. Use less pressure on the lips by holding the mouthpiece with two fingers (Stamp example) Mouthpiece buzzing can be very beneficial if you are persistent. If you play this (or other same warm-up exercises) every day your lip muscles and body will remember (muscle memory) and wake up the same way each day. Your lips and body will be prepared for longer playing. 4. Stay focused and you will get results Don't be chaotic when you practice! Longer practice sessions won't help if you are not focused on what you are doing. You can play an hour, an hour and a half and this could be enough for the day if you stay concentrated.
