We Took a Day Trip to Lido Beach… Worth It?

We took a day trip from Orlando to Lido Beach, Florida to see if it was worth the two-hour drive! After visiting Anna Maria Island, we wanted to keep exploring more Florida Gulf Coast beaches, so this time we headed to Lido Beach near Sarasota. We left earlier in the morning to beat traffic, walked around St. Armands Circle, checked out the shops and restaurants, and then spent the day at the beach with family and friends. In this video, we share our first impressions of Lido Beach, the parking situation, nearby amenities, public bathrooms, beach access, water clarity, shells, and how it compares to Anna Maria Island. The water was beautiful, the shells were everywhere, and even though the Gulf was a little rougher than we expected, it was still a great beach day.
