Buona Sera! Bella Italia meets the virtual organ world! Today's video - my longest yet - is a demonstration of the 2010 Mascioni organ located in San Giovanni Evangelista in Alessandria, Italy. The organ was perfectly sampled for Hauptwerk by Piotr Grabowski (https://piotrgrabowski.pl/) who generously donated the organ sample set to the channel! Thanks Piotr! In today's video I also show you the process of loading a sample set into the Hauptwerk user interface - a task in itself - and demonstrate some of the software's internal features. Then I finally demonstrate the organ's capabilities, showing off some of its stops and tonal colors as well as deafening you with the truly amazing high-pressure Tuba - a unique stop in Italy! Finally, I perform a piece of improvised music to let you hear the organ's dynamic range - from the softest sounds all the way to Tutti, complete with the solo Tuba!
