Ep. 24 | We’re About to Regret Moving In Together

Welcome back to The Gentleman’s Table Podcast. Episode 24 comes at the perfect time: Carter is moving into Anthony’s new house, while Jonathan is preparing to move out and begin a completely different chapter of life. Before the living situations officially change, we rate ourselves—and each other—as roommates. We get honest about cleanliness, dishes, laundry, noise, guests, communication, household chores, reliability, personal space, parking, and all the little habits that can either make living with your friends great or completely ruin the friendship. We also call one of Anthony’s current roommates to verify whether he is actually as quiet as he claims, debate whether taking out the trash includes replacing the bag, and discuss the household standards that should be non-negotiable. Later, we describe our ideal living situations, talk about dream ranches and garages, decide which home repairs we would attempt ourselves, and reflect on moving out, living alone, independence, and choosing the right people to live with. The episode ends with an Ohio State sign nearly causing one host to quit the podcast entirely. Pull up a chair at the table.
