To me, it is like a shameless crying out to be noticed. We are all guilty of committing micro acts of manipulation for attention whether we care to admit it or not; and I think it eats us alive. It is a wretched, damming thing to contort and poison our personalities by letting our egos relentlessly seep into our actions. Narcissism, crocodile tears, conditional love, this song has none of that. It's a person that is choosing to wear their desperate loneliness on their sleeve while hoisting up a white flag... "I barely made it through the day. Today was f***ing sh*t. I am f***ing lonely. F***k me." We've all had days like this for a myriad of different reasons and we'll probably have days like this again.
