Thanks for viewing our latest restoration video of this 1984 Toyota Pickup Truck Sunrader Factory 4x4 Overland Camper. This vehicle took about 1 year on & off to restore. This vehicle is extremely rare and 1 of 17 known to existence being a "FACTORY" 4WD truck. The truck came stock with the legendary bullet proof 22r 4 cylinder engine with 5 speed transmission as well as the solid front axle that all toyota owners love. Toyota stopped installing solid axles in toyota pickups in 1986 for better ride quality as well as coming out with the fuel injected 22re engine in 1985. The truck was a body on restoration and was stripped down, body worked, rust repaired, primed and repainted. The hardest part of the vehicle restoration was the fiberglass body restoration and obtaining a few very rare parts. Factory decals were made to OEM Toyota spec and installed to give the camper a factory 80s look. The camper truck will be used for cross country trips as a snowboarding hangout and a summer camper in the woods of northern Maine.
