How to Design and Build a TDA2050 Stereo Amplifier

In this video, we will see how to design and build a stereo audio amplifier with the TDA2050 amplifier chip. The design is similar to the example circuit in the datasheet, but with a few added components to help reduce noise and improve the sound quality. We will see how to change the gain of the amplifier, and how to set the upper and lower cutoff frequencies. We will also discuss important things to keep in mind when designing an audio amplifier PCB. At the end of the video I wire up the amplifier and play some music.
