Neisson Rhum Agricole Blanc review

The third and last white rum (rhum) in this series comes from the independent, family-owned Neisson brand. This version (Martinique AOC, distilled at Thieubert-Barbet distillery, 5/14/19 Lot US19/305, 50% ABV) isn't even one of their boutique bottlings, just the entry-level stuff made for Ti' Punch and such, and it's excellent (87+/100). Buy this and strike a small blow against neocolonialism and corporate mercantilism. (Also, the pear-heavy Calvados I mention is Domfrontais. Wild, funky stuff, although good luck getting any in the U.S....)
