#champagnevprosecco #champagne #prosecco #differencebetweenchampagneandprosecco In this video I am explaining the differences in between Prosecco and Champagne. Prosecco is produce by tank method which Champagne is produce by traditional method. There are other differences such permitted grape varieties and aging requirement. Please note that Vintage Champagne is aged for a minimum of 36 months, not 30 as I mention on the video 👍 Champagne vs Prosecco – What’s the REAL Difference? 🍾 Most people think all sparkling wines are the same… but Champagne and Prosecco are produced in completely different ways — and they taste very different too! Champagne comes from the Champagne region in France and is mainly made from: • Chardonnay • Pinot Noir • Pinot Meunier It is produced using the Traditional Method (Méthode Traditionnelle), where the second fermentation happens inside the bottle. This process creates finer bubbles, more complexity, and those classic brioche, toast, almond, and pastry notes. Prosecco, on the other hand, comes mainly from Veneto in Italy and is primarily made from the Glera grape. It is usually produced using the Charmat Method, where the second fermentation takes place in large stainless steel tanks. This gives Prosecco a fresher, fruitier, and more aromatic profile with notes of: 🍏 Green apple 🍐 Pear 🌼 White flowers 🍑 Peach So which one is better? 👀 Champagne is typically richer, more complex, and more age-worthy… while Prosecco is lighter, fresher, and often easier to drink casually.
