Two-component injection moulding in a hard/soft combination

An ALLROUNDER MORE 2000 with two electric injection units is used. First, the handle is injection moulded from PCB using the size 170 vertical injection unit. An index unit rotates the pre-moulded part into the second station, where the soft spatula component made of self-adhesive LSR is added using a size 400 horizontal injection unit. The two components are injected directly and with no waste via a cold or hot runner system. A MULTILIFT V 30 linear robotic system performs the handling tasks.
