Arrested & Charged with Sedition in Trinidad — Trial Date & Updates! 🇹🇹

My name is Chris Must List. I'm a Canadian journalist, documentary filmmaker, and YouTuber with a passion for telling stories from places that are often misunderstood or overlooked. My goal has always been to show people and cultures through firsthand experience, even when that means traveling to some of the world's most dangerous locations. Following the release of one of my documentaries filmed in Trinidad and Tobago, I was charged with sedition. I deny any criminal wrongdoing and maintain that my work was conducted as independent journalism in the public interest. If convicted, I face a maximum sentence of up to two years in prison. My trial is scheduled to take place over three days: July 22, 23, and 24. Despite everything that's happened, I still love Trinidad and Tobago. I have tremendous respect for the people, the culture, and the friendships I made there. My hope is that one day I can return and continue sharing the beauty of the country with the world.
