Doubts about salvation, and other doubts of all Christians! The words of the Lord Jesus in the book of Matthew, Ch. 7: 24-25, lead us to an important reflection: "Whosoever therefore heareth these sayings, and doeth them, shall be likened unto a prudent man, that built his house upon and the rain fell, the rivers overflowed, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house that fell not, because it was built upon the rock.  When we see in the storms the images of houses being carried away by the rains, we can stop and think about the secret to the success of this construction reported by the Lord Jesus in resisting the winds and waters that gave on it with impetus? He himself responds: it was exactly the foundation on which it had been built, that is, the rock, or ground that served as its foundation.  In Boyer's little Biblical encyclopedia, the definition found for foundation is "the foundation, the mainstay of something." And this explains exactly its function-to serve as an infrastructure for what will be constructed by distributing the weight of the building equally on the ground.
