According to Fundstrat co-founder and Wall Street strategist Tom Lee, Ethereum may be entering a new phase where tokenization, artificial intelligence, institutional adoption, and global finance combine to create enormous long-term upside. In this video, Tom Lee explains why the recent Ethereum decline may be part of a market-bottoming process rather than the beginning of another collapse. He highlights several forces that have held crypto back, including tighter interest-rate expectations, uncertainty surrounding the CLARITY Act, weak financial-sector performance, and investor capital rotating aggressively into artificial intelligence stocks. However, Lee believes these headwinds could soon begin reversing. Cooling inflation may allow the Federal Reserve to adopt a more dovish position, while progress on crypto regulation could encourage more institutional capital to enter the market. Technical indicators also suggest that Ethereum’s risk-to-reward outlook may be shifting toward the upside. Robinhood’s new chain, built using Arbitrum technology, uses ETH for transaction fees and settles activity on Ethereum. Lee believes this strengthens the case that ETH is evolving from a speculative cryptocurrency into productive digital money and working capital for the future financial system. The video also explores the convergence of artificial intelligence and crypto. As autonomous AI agents begin earning income, holding assets, making payments, and participating in machine-to-machine commerce, they may require programmable and decentralized financial infrastructure.
