AUDI S3 MK1: A MODERN CLASSIC BARGAIN?

This car meant a lot to me as it laid the foundations for my love of fast Audis which ultimately led to the purchase of an R8 after many RS models in between. While I used to own a Mk2 Golf GTI, I don't have a massive sentimental attachment to them probably because I've spent too much of my life fixing them. But the S3 is different as I've had relatively little exposure and what I have had was extremely positive, such as my first ever lap of the 'ring which was part of a typically disorganised hardcore road trip organised by car blokes with forgotten passports, breakdowns and even a crash (luckily in a 'ring hire car) but my S3 was a haven of peace and reliability. I started thinking about buying one earlier this year but wasn't ready for this one when it came up (too many projects on the go) so mentioned it to the guys at Audi UK who went and bought it! They promised me the first media drive once it was ready and true to their word here it is. Question is will it reinforce my urge to buy one or put me off for life.
