The Noosa Bar and Bay. Thursday morning, June 11, 2026.

Overcast with intermittent light showers here in Noosa this morning. Cleared long enough for me to film a few of the small number of boats heading out. A 5 to 6 knot southerly blowing at the river mouth and a small punchy swell on the bar. BOM forecast is for easterly winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas: Below 1 metre. Swell: Easterly 1 to 1.5 metres, decreasing to around 1 metre later in the evening. Filmed between 6.15am and 6.35am which was two and a half hours after a 1.68m high tide.
