Harbor Freight Portable Air Tank Valve Solution and Improvement
Harbor Freight sells a great 11 gallon portable air tank, but the valve is a cheap, leaky, mess. I need air quite often when I am pulling a loaded car hauler or tool trailer. Finding air at gas stations is getting harder, and they are charging money for weak compressors. It takes a dollar worth of compressor time to increase a tire by 10psi sometimes. Carrying this portable air is a great solution for me. BUT, the leaky valve left me hanging too many times. This video shows how I rebuit that valve with something way simpler, and something that would allow me to refill the tank in a quarter of the time.
