Both SUVs now offer more power and torque, allowing the diesel engines of both models to deliver even more performance. The 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine with quad-turbocharging now delivers 394 hp. With a maximum torque of 800 Newton meters, the engine offers tremendous pulling power. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds. The top speed of both models is 267 km/h. As is typical for diesel engines, efficiency is not compromised despite this power. The new lighting and kidney grille design, as well as the revised Alpina aerodynamic components at the front and rear, now characterize the sporty design even more significantly. Like every Alpina model, the facelifted XD3 bears an Alpina nameplate with a production number. 20- or 22-inch wheels simply look great on the SUV. Combined with the Alpina Classic 22-inch forged wheels, the top speed is reduced by about 5 km/h. That's manageable. The in-house Alpina stainless steel exhaust system with dual tailpipes and a standard limited-slip differential on the rear axle complete the sporty look. The new rear diffuser underscores the athletic character with the necessary touch of elegance. The Allgäu SUV measures 4.71 meters long. Including the exterior mirrors, it has a vehicle width of 2.13 meters. At 1.66 meters, its height is low compared to the wheelbase of 2.86 meters. The trunk offers space for 550 to 1,600 liters. The Alpina XD3 weighs just over 2 tons. The Alpina braking system and sporty Alpina suspension make the XD3 a perfect everyday companion, offering sporty driving pleasure at any time, whether accelerating or braking. The revised variable sport steering makes the XD3's handling even more precise and agile. When cornering dynamically, the modified Performance Control provides even more traction and fun.
