Hotel Review: Ibis Budget Manchester Airport - September 2024    • Hotel Review: Ibis Budget Manchester Airpo...   . I stayed at the Ibis Budget Manchester Airport in September 2024. Two of us stayed on a bed and breakfast basis for one night, which cost £85.50. We both had flights the next day (to different destinations), so this seemed like a good option. The hotel is very close to the airport, particularly Terminal 2. We took the train to Manchester Airport, and from the railway station it was about a 7 minute walk. The hotel is fairly newly built, and is a smart and functional building, albeit as a budget hotel. The reception / lounge is quite large with tables, chairs, a shop, bar, some entertainment facilities and TVs. The bedroom was quite small with limited sotrage space, it would have been better for one person, but we managed OK. It was all very clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was a basic continental breakfast, but it wa sufficient and tasty. This airport was a reasonable choice for Manchester Airport, I would consider staying here again, although i'd be tempted to try the Holiday inn, which is next door also.
