Maiden trip with PTC Cup car Citroën C1 in the Track Experience of ADS TT Raceworld Assen

   / @dreamitraceit   What an eye opener! That you can have so much track fun with a PTC Cup car (= Peugeot 107, Toyota Aygo, Citroën C1). A PTC Cup car reacts very pleasantly and sensitively to fluctuations in the dosing of the accelerator pedal when cornering. The bends from Ossebroeken to Strubben are therefore ideally suited to 'feel' the car. And the speeds are very similar to karting. I can therefore well imagine that karters (even 14-year-olds!) will make the switch from karting to car racing in the PTC Cup. This Citroën C1 had only just been built as a PTC Cup car and was not yet completely finished; the radio was still in the place where the main power switch will be, and according to my son there was still a standard exhaust under it. The track had just been cleared of a 2.5km oil trail with a cleanup action lasting about half an hour or an hour, because a Mercedes-Benz had left its oil supply all over the track.
