Lately I've been playing Super Mario Sunshine and man that game can sure be a sadistic game. Like don't get me wrong, Sunshine is absolutely awesome, it's just brutal at times. Though, I think the brutality is part of the charm - the sand bird, pachinko machine and the watermelon contest come to mind. Don't think that Mario Sunshine would be my favorite 3D Mario game, but I think it might be top 3.
