Consumables -Vs- Every Boss (Dark Souls 1)

Using offensive consumables against every boss in Dark Souls 1, testing if its even possible to defeat them, with how limited these resources are! 00:00:00 Intro 00:01:36 01 Taurus Demon 00:03:01 02 Bell Gargoyles 00:05:52 03 Capra Demon 00:08:24 04 Gaping Dragon 00:11:45 05 Chaos Witch Quelaag 00:18:26 06 Iron Golem 00:25:15 07a Ornstein & Smough 00:27:34 07b Super Ornstein 00:29:25 07c Super Smough 00:33:00 08 Dark Sun Gwyndolin 00:36:17 09 Moonlight Butterfly 00:38:30 10 Great Grey Wolf Sif 00:43:03 11 Four Kings 00:50:26 12 Stray Demon 00:54:29 13 Crossbreed Priscilla 00:56:49 14 Seath, the Scaleless 01:00:27 15 Pinwheel 01:03:08 16 Gravelord Nito 01:07:14 17 Ceaseless Discharge XX:XX:XX 18 Demon Firesage (I forgot...???) 01:08:35 19 Centipede Demon 01:14:46 20 Bed of Chaos 01:16:46 21 Gwyn, Lord of Cinder 01:21:47 00 Asylum Demon 01:22:49 22 Sanctuary Guardian (dlc) 01:30:19 23 Knight Artorias (dlc) 01:42:27 24 Manus, Father of the Abyss (dlc) 01:52:50 25 Black Dragon Kalameet (dlc) I wanted to show the fights in full, mostly unedited, so that they can be viewed as a guide or walkthrough, where you can use my gameplay as a reference for how to survive (even if I couldn't survive every single boss :"D) I decided to play this "challenge" as a compilation of all bosses, instead of a normal full game playthrough, as an attempt to "arcade-ify" the experience. Normally I play on ng+ (because my character is high level), but this time we have limited resources, so standard ng is the way to go. I also hate brute-forcing bosses so I avoid spamming healing items, buffs and heavy armor (feels like godmode with extra steps). However, I did allow myself a shield with tiny passive health regen, since these fights go on long enough to become endurance tests. I think that's a balanced format! ;D I wanted to remove the RPG problem of under-/over-leveling and I enjoy this "vivisected gameplay". I do think that some standard dark souls exploration encounters would be fun to fight using only limited tools, but... the game doesn't really stop you from running past enemies anyway :d During the video, at the end of every boss fight, I included a fairness review, where I describe how reasonable the fight felt while using only consumables. About consumables in Dark Souls 1: There aren't many interesting offensive consumables, but still, I think that fighting bosses with limited resources is one of the most interesting ways of playing Dark Souls. There are some major upsides for this challenge, because these are ranged attacks, which are rather fast to throw, and also cost no stamina! But, because the damage is fixed and the limit is 99, this opens the question, if some late-game bosses are even possible. I had great fun recording this video and I recommend that you also try this playstyle on your own :] I hope you liked how I was explaining my gameplay and reasoning during the fight, as I really enjoyed writing these tips ♥
