They Tore Down This Legendary Speedway... But the Memories Live On | Lost Tracks Ep. 11 - Cleveland

For more than 60 years, Cleveland Speedway was one of Tennessee's most beloved dirt tracks. Generations of drivers, crews, and fans made memories here, and racers like Dale McDowell and Ronnie Johnson got their starts on this very dirt. Today... There's almost nothing left. The grandstands are gone. The track is gone. The only reminders are a small section of the entrance road, the concrete pad where Joe Lee Johnson's garage once stood, and the memories of the people who lived it. In this episode of Lost Tracks, former drivers, officials, crew members, and historians return to the site of Cleveland Speedway to tell the stories that made this place so special. Featuring: • Skip Arp • Morris Bice • Sport Dill • Jeff Stansberry • Bobby Richey Sr. • Bobby Richey Jr. • Tommy Hicks • T.A.
