Getting Back Into Routine After Travel | Slow Summer Days, Olive Oil Cake & a New Vlog Camera

Hi friends, After a lovely trip to İstanbul, this week was all about slowing down and settling back into everyday life. In this vlog, I'm getting back into my routine, baking a simple olive oil cake, enjoying a few summer moments, and trying out my new vlog camera for the first time. If you've ever come home from a trip feeling both inspired and a little out of sync, I think you'll relate to this one. Thank you for spending part of your day with me. I hope this video feels like a gentle pause from the busyness of life ☁️ Olive Oil Cake Recipe (my version) Ingredients 300 ml olive oil 3 eggs 1 tsp vanilla powder 1 cup sugar (200 ml cup) 3-4 table spoon all-purpose flour 1,5 cup almond pulp (200 ml cup) A pinch of salt Baking powder Instructions Whisk together the olive oil and eggs until well combined. Add the vanilla powder and sugar, then whisk until smooth. Add the all-purpose flour, almond pulp, a pinch of salt, and the baking powder and mix. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan. Bake in a 200°C (390°F) fan-forced oven without preheating until golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. P.S. I served my olive oil cake with whipped cream and butter-fried peach slices.
