UAD 1176 Compressor Comparison (ALL Five Versions!)

This video explains the key functional and characteristic differences between each of the five versions of Universal Audio's 1176 Compressor plugins: Revision A, Revision E, 1176AE, 1176LN Legacy & 1176SE Legacy. We take an in depth look at which version you'll want to use in certain scenarios, like when you want more harmonic distortion or as clean of a sound as possible, and also when you may want to conserve DSP and CPU. We also perform a listening test on a set of vocals, swapping through each revision so you can see and hear for yourself the difference in compression characteristics.
