小田急江ノ島線と相鉄本線の2路線が乗り入れている神奈川県の大和駅周辺の繁華街を歩いてみました。横浜・新宿・渋谷の各駅へ電車1本でアクセスが可能な立地の良さから各方面に通勤する人たちのベッドタウンとしても人気のエリアです。 駅周辺には新しいマンションも立ち始めていますが、まだまだ昭和の面影を強く残す商店街や建物を見つけることが出来ました。 We walked around the downtown area around Yamato Station in Kanagawa Prefecture, which is served by two lines, the Odakyu Enoshima Line and the Sotetsu Main Line. The area is popular as a bedroom community for people commuting in various directions due to its good location with easy access to Yokohama, Shinjuku, and Shibuya stations by a single train. New condominiums have started to stand around the station, but we could still find old shopping streets and buildings.
