For the second annual World Monuments Fund H. Peter Stern Lecture, noted author Simon Winchester presents an engaging and entertaining talk focused on three men and their involvement in a collection of ancient manuscripts discovered in the Dunhuang Caves in Western China. The H. Peter Stern Lecture series extends the legacy and interests of long-time World Monuments Fund Trustee H. Peter Stern, who became a champion of WMF’s work in 1970.
