Edexcel GCSE Maths 2026 Paper 2H Review | Reaction

Edexcel GCSE Maths Paper 2 is now done — and the reaction from students has been mixed. In this video, I give my honest teacher review of the Edexcel GCSE Maths Paper 2 Higher paper, based on student feedback, online comments and unofficial mark scheme discussions. We talk about the questions students found difficult, including the standard form/orbit question, vectors, pressure, 3D trigonometry and the final challenge questions. I also explain why some questions may have felt harder under exam pressure, especially crossover questions between Foundation and Higher. I also discuss grade boundaries and why students should not panic or obsess over unofficial mark schemes yet — because Paper 3 is still left. Finally, I go through what students should now focus on for Edexcel GCSE Maths Paper 3, including key topics that may not have appeared heavily across Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 2 is done.
