Ryota Katayose of the dance and vocal group "GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE" and actress Kanna Hashimoto attended the Real Cinderella event for the film "Come Kiss Me at Midnight" (directed by Takehiko Shinjo, opening December 6th), in which they co-star, held in Tokyo on November 12th. Katayose, dressed in a tuxedo, escorted Hashimoto, dressed in a Cinderella-esque blue dress, onto a grand staircase illuminated with glittering lights. A thunderous cheer erupted from the 400 people gathered. The film is based on the shoujo manga of the same name by Rin Mikimoto, currently serialized in the monthly manga magazine "Bessatsu Friend" (Kodansha). The story depicts a love story between popular national star Ayase Kaede (Katayose) and "ultra-serious" high school girl Hanazawa Hinana (Hashimoto). Also in attendance at the event were Go Ayeda, Arisa Yagi, Sae Okazaki, Katsuhiro Suzuki, Wakana Sakai, Kenichi Endo, and director Takehiko Shinjo. When Katayose, sporting a prince-like aura, and Hashimoto, clad in a sparkling tiara and dress, appeared hand in hand, screams of "So cute!" and "So amazing!" erupted from the audience. Looking around the venue, Katayose smiled and said, "'Come Kiss Me at Midnight' is finally reaching everyone. I'm so excited." Hashimoto also expressed concern for her fans, saying, "Thank you for waiting in the cold. Please enjoy yourself." Endo, who drew laughter just by greeting the audience with "I'm Endo Kenichi," screamed, "Why are you laughing?" He then exclaimed, "It's the first time I've appeared in such a sparkling movie as such a tough-looking guy!", drawing applause.
